Zu ihren internationalen Erfolgen zählen die Hauptrollen in Robert Wises Helen of Troy (1956) und Robert Aldrichs Sodoma and Gomorrha (1961). Ihre letzte Filmrolle spielte Rossana Podestà 1985 in Segreti segreti von Giuseppe Bertolucci.
