Grigorij Aleksandrov was born on January 23, 1903 in Jekatarinenburg. He was a Russian Director, Actor, Author, known for Chelovjek - Chelovjekij (1958), Bronenosjez Patjomkin (1925), Stachka (1924), Grigorij Aleksandrov's first movie on record is from 1923. Grigorij Aleksandrov died on December 16, 1983 in Moskau. His last motion picture on file dates from 1980.
Biographical Notes in German: Schon früh Mitarbeit im lokalen Theater in Jekatarinenburg, dann als Schauspieler in Moskau zum "Proletkult" und dort Bekanntschaft mit Sergeij Eisenstein, dessen Regieassistent er wird. 1924 Gründung des KEM (Eksperimentalnaja Kinomasterskaja). War verheiratet mit dem sowjetischen Filmstar Ljubov' Orlova, die in vielen seiner Filme die Hauptrolle spielte.
