Italia Almirante Manzini was born under the given name Italia Almirante on June 3, 1890 in Taranto. She was an Italian Actress, known for Cabiria (1914), Maciste atleta (1918), Maciste poliziotto (1918), Italia Almirante Manzini's first movie on record is from 1911. She was married to Amerigo Manzini. Italia Almirante Manzini died on September , 1941 in Sao Paolo, Brasilien. Her last motion picture on file dates from 1934.
Biographical Notes in German: Eine der Diven des italienischen Stummfilms mit einem einzigen Tonfilm, Ehefrau des Schriftstellers und Regisseurs Amerigo Manzini. Aufgewachsen im Theatermilieu, debütiert sie mit 20 Jahren in Turin bei der Savoia-Film. Zu ihren bekanntesten Rollen gehört die der Sofonisba in Patrones "Cabiria". 1916 wird sie der Star der neugegründeten "Gladiator"-Film in Rom des Regisseurs und Produzenten Ugo de Simone: zeitgenössische Rezensenten loben ihre aristokratische Erscheinung und "die Figur einer Antilope, die sich im besten Lichte präsentiert". In den Zwanziger Jahren dreht sie wieder in Turin, dann emigriert sie Mitte der Dreissiger Jahre nach Brasilien und spielt in den Theatern von Rio de Janeiro und Sao Paolo. Im Alter von 51 Jahren stirbt sie an den Folgen eines Insektenstichs.
