Biografia (en Alemán): Schauspielerin des amerikanischen Stummfilms, Madge Bellamy begann ihre Schauspielerkarriere mit einer Theatergesellschaft in Denver. Ihren Durchbruch erzielte sie, als sie fĂĽr Helen Hays im Broadway-StĂĽck "Dear Brutus" einsprang. Fox Pictures verpflichtete sie, und Madge trat in einer Reihe von Filmen in den frĂĽhen Zwanziger Jahren auf, darunter 'Lorna Doone (1922)' und 'The Iron Horse (1924)'. 1928 spielte sie die Hauptrolle in Fox' erstem Tonfilm 'Mother knows best'.
