1981-1983 Studium Filmwissenschaften in Frankfurt, 1983-1990 an der HFF in München. Mehrere Kurzfilme, darunter "Der schönste Busen der Welt". Für den Kurzfilm "Salz für das Leben" erhielt er den "Förderpreis der Stadt München." Spielfilmerstling "Dann eben mit Gewalt", sein "Stadtgespräch" wurde 1995 mit dem "Regieförderpreis der Hypo-Bank" ausgezeichnet.
