Synopsis in German
Die bildhĂŒbsche blonde Marnie Edgar hat ihren Chef Sidney Strutt um fast 10 000 Dollar erleichtert. Der reiche Verleger Mark Rutland, ein GeschĂ€ftspartner des Bestohlenen, erfĂ€hrt zufĂ€llig davon. Zu seiner Ăberraschung bewirbt sich das attraktive MĂ€dchen kurz darauf bei seiner Firma um eine Vertrauensstellung. Obwohl Mark weiĂ, dass Marnie eine Diebin ist, gibt er ihr den Posten, denn er ist fasziniert von der rĂ€tselhaft verschlossenen Schönen. TatsĂ€chlich raubt Marnie auch den Tresor des Verlages aus. Mark kann sie jedoch nach der Tat stellen. Anstatt sie anzuzeigen, entschlieĂt er sich impulsiv, sie zu heiraten. FĂŒr ihn steht fest, dass Marnie an einem psychischen Defekt leidet und Hilfe braucht, nicht zuletzt ihre stĂ€ndigen AlbtrĂ€ume deuten darauf hin. Auf der Hochzeitsreise zeigt sich, dass die junge Frau seine Umarmungen nicht ertragen kann. Und die Zukunft hat weitere schlimme Ăberraschungen fĂŒr Mark parat... (BR Presse)
