Remarks and general Information in German: "Zum ersten Mal wurde im deutschen Film eine nächtliche Strasse mit den Effekten brennender Strassenlaternen und erleuchteter Fenster aufgenommen. William Wauer erreichte damit eine expressionistische Stimmung, wie Jahre später Karl Grune in seinem Film "Die Strasse". Diese Szenen wurden leicht unscharf photographiert, um nicht sichtbar werden zu lassen, dass die Häuserfassaden nur mit primitiven Mitteln angedeutet waren." (Lamprecht op. cit.)
