Synopsis in German
Auf dem Weg ins Hotel Sacher verliebt sich Erzherzog Peter Ferdinand in die junge Hofratstochter Lixie. Diese hat jedoch nur den Klavierlehrer Toni im Kopf. Ein Österreichischer Heimatfilm.Durch die Bekanntschaft mit dem Erzherzog hofft Lixie auf die langersehnte Protektion, um Toni eine Stelle an der Oper zu verschaffen. Ein gemeinsamer Abend mit Peter Ferdinand führt jedoch zu einem Skandal.Der Wiener Gesellschaft bleibt das Liebesleben des Erzherzogs mit einer "Bürgerlichen" nicht verborgen. Als auch noch die Affären einiger ehrwürdiger Honoratioren ans Tageslicht kommen, wird aus dem Skandal eine hochpolitische Staatsaffäre. (3Sat Presse)
