Synopsis in German
In München wird ein Straßenmädchen von Unbekannten zusammengeschlagen und schwer verletzt. Kurze Zeit später flüchtet sich in der Nähe ein Amerikaner mit einer Schusswunde in das Haus einer Witwe.
Bevor er das Bewusstsein verliert, erwähnt er, genau wie das Mädchen, einen "General". Kommissar Lenz übernimmt den Fall und kann im Krankenhaus einen zweiten Mordversuch an dem verletzten Amerikaner vereiteln. Der Täter, ein heroinsüchtiger Zuhälter, wird gefasst.
Bald hat Lenz eine ganze Liste von Verdächtigen. Da ist einmal die Besitzerin eines Nachtlokals, dann ein Reporter von AFN, außerdem eine Prostituierte namens Pretty und der verletzte Amerikaner, ein desertierter GI. Lenz schaltet die amerikanische Militärpolizei ein, kommt aber in seinen Ermittlungen zunächst nicht weiter. Als sich jedoch der rauschgiftsüchtige Zuhälter im Gefängnis einen "goldenen Schuss" setzt, können ihm nur wenige Personen die tödliche Heroinmischung zugesteckt haben. (ARD Presse)
