Synopsis in German
Die talentierte, schöne junge Helena (Eugenia RamĂrez Miori) singt in Buenos Aires Tango. Als sie mit ihrer Gruppe einen Vertrag in einem angesehenen Theater der Stadt erhält, teilt ihr Partner, in den sie rasend verliebt ist, ihr mit, dass er sie nicht mehr liebt. Das bricht Helenas Herz, sie ertränkt ihren Kummer im Alkohol, bombardiert ihn mit Anrufen und verpasst in der Folge mehrere Proben. Nicht einmal der berufliche Erfolg vermag die Leere zu fĂĽllen, die sie nunmehr begleitet. Sie ist ausserstande, mit ihrem Kummer fertig zu werden, und da sie ihr frĂĽheres Leben nicht weiterfĂĽhren kann, fährt sie zu ihrem Bruder nach Frankreich in der Hoffnung auf einen Neubeginn. Dort flĂĽchtet sie sich in endlose Fahrradfahrten entlang den schroffen Klippen – und ruft ihren Ex-Partner immer noch ständig und ebenso erfolglos an. Kann sie die Trennung verkraften? Gelingt es ihr, im neuen Land ein neues Leben zu beginnen? Regisseur Diego MartĂnez Vignatti dekonstruiert die Erzählung, indem er Episoden aus dem Leben der Sängerin in Buenos Aires alterniert mit Szenen aus ihrem Leben in der Region Nord-Pas de Calais. Er stellt minuziös komponierte Einstellungen von Landschaften, die von den Wellen des Ozeans bestĂĽrmt werden, solchen von Buenos Aires bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit gegenĂĽber. Betörende Tango-Lieder bestimmen den Rhythmus des Films. Jedes Lied trägt zum Fortschreiten der Erzählung bei, lässt uns die Figuren besser verstehen und macht die GefĂĽhle der Hauptdarstellerin nachvollziehbar, ihre Sehnsucht, Leidenschaft, Traurigkeit oder Freude. Der lyrische und musikalische Reichtum des Tangos, virtuos vorgetragen von Eugenia RamĂrez Miori, der Frau des Regisseurs, vereint die beiden Geschichten, ihre gemeinsame Vergangenheit, ihre Orte und ihre Farben.
