Remarks and general Information in German: "Die drei Freunde Benny, Momo und Johnny durchleben Liebesfreud und -leid im Israel des Jahres 1958. Als Weiberheld Momo seine schwangere Freundin Nili sitzen lässt, scheint endlich Bennys große Stunde zu schlagen, denn der schüchterne Junge ist schon lange in Nili verliebt.
Zwischen Schule, Kino, Partys und Eisdiele sind die drei Schüler Benny, Momo und Johnny auf der Jagd nach der ersten sexuellen Erfahrung. Gemeinsam erleben sie die ersten großen Gefühle, den ersten Liebeskummer und das "erste Mal". Im Gegensatz zu seinen Freunden, dem dicken Johnny und dem extrovertierten Schönling Momo, ist Benny eher schüchtern. Als er sich in Nili verliebt, schnappt sie ihm ausgerechnet Momo vor der Nase weg. Aber Nili wird schwanger - und Momo lässt sie sitzen. Benny springt als Helfer in der Not ein: Während seine Eltern ihn im Ferienlager wähnen, arrangiert er die Abtreibung und hilft Nili, über den Schock hinwegzukommen. Endlich traut sich Benny, ihr seine Liebe zu gestehen. Aber wo steht geschrieben, dass die erste Liebe ein Happy-End hat? (Eric Friedler, NDR-Presse)
