Synopsis in German
Roger (Charly Hübner) hat seine eigene, übersichtliche Welt. Er liebt seine Wohnung, hat ein Herz für Tiere und jeden Tag eine neue Aufgabe: Roger arbeitet als Hausmeister in einer Schweriner Platte kurz vor dem Abriss. Übrig gebliebene DDR-Anhänger, gescheiterte Genies, künstlerische Neonazis, schlitzohrige Döner-Verkäufer und eine dem Alkohol nicht abgeneigte Mutter (Renate Krößner) bevölkern sein skurriles kleines Universum.

Für sie alle erledigt Roger kleine Dienste, großes Herz inklusive. Roger ist ein Träumer, aber er hat einen wachen Blick und einen großen Wunsch: Er möchte sich verlieben. Als eines Tages die Berlinerin Ellen (Christina Große) und ihre Tochter Jill (Emilie Neumeister) in das Haus einziehen, hat er seine Traumfrau gefunden. Nur weiß er leider nicht, wie er sich selbst zum Glück verhelfen kann. Mit kleinen Dingen versucht er, Ellen zu bezaubern. Doch mutig zu seiner Fantasie zu stehen, ist seine Sache nicht - vor allem nicht, wenn Mutti auch noch ein Wort mitsprechen möchte. (hr Presse)
