Synopsis in German
Franz und Gustav, zwei Oberkellner im Café "Alt Wien", verteidigen diese letzte Bastion der Wiener Gemütlichkeit mit Humor und Charme gegen den griesgrämigen Besitzer, Herrn Panigl. Als Panigl den Betrieb eines Tages verkleinern will und eine Lokalhälfte verkauft, verstricken sich die beiden Freunde in Heimlichkeiten und Missverständnisse und stehen einander schließlich als erbitterte Kontrahenten gegenüber.
