Osservazione generali (in Tedesco): J. Stuart Blackton war laut eigener Aussage in Photoplay [1919] Regisseur dieser ersten Vitagraph Produktion mit Sidney Drew. Als Theaterstück hatte "The Still Voice" 1912 in New York Premiere. "The Still Voice" wurde am 22. Oktober 1917 erneut in die US Kinos gebracht, diesmal durch den Greater Vitagraph Verleih (V-L-S-E). Universal hatte am 8. April 1916 einen gleich lautenden Titel von Ben Wilson gestartet. (lhg 2014)
