Synopsis in German
Der in die Jahre gekommene Revolverheld Cole Thornton soll für den kaltschnäuzigen Viehzüchter Bart Jason die Siedler der Gegend einschüchtern. In El Dorado begegnet er seinem alten Freund J. P. Harrah, der jetzt Sheriff ist und Thornton von Jasons verbrecherischen Aktivitäten erzählt. Thornton kündigt seinen Job und landet auf der Abschussliste des korrupten Ranchers.Die Lage wird brenzlig, als eine Bande von Killern in El Dorado auftaucht. Die beiden alten Haudegen erhalten Unterstützung durch einen jungen Mann namens Mississippi, der sich als Virtuose im Umgang mit Messern erweist. Gemeinsam geht das ungewöhnliche Trio daran, den Ganoven die Hölle heiß zu machen. (3Sat Presse)
